Tisch Berlin—a gathering of German and Israeli artists in Berlin to discuss art. It was a fascinating event, an exchange of views where each artist shared insights into themselves and their work. Some of the Israeli artists residing in Berlin spoke about the ambivalence of living in Germany with ties to Israel. While I sympathized with their perspectives, I also believe that living in a foreign and new place has personally developed me. It involves stepping out of the comfort of one’s home, encountering diverse opinions, and realizing that not everything is black and white.
